Shawn Larry has been an outfielder in the Bundesliga.
Larry debuted in the Bundesliga-1 in 2009, going 0 for 1 for the Heidenheim Heideköpfe. He participated in the MLB European Academy that year. In the 2009 European Junior Championship, he hit .250/.375/.458 with five runs and five RBI in five games for Germany. He next saw regular action for Heidenheim in 2012, batting .306/.450/.491 with 29 runs in 32 games. He was with Germany for the 2012 European Championship, going 0 for 6 as the backup to Kevin Kotowski in RF. He drew one walk, from ex-big leaguer Shairon Martis.
In 2014, he hit .352/.531/.535 with 27 walks and 18 runs in 26 games. He led the Bundesliga-1 South in walks, one ahead of Kotowski and led in OBP (.004 ahead of Joseph Dyche). As a regularly-used bench player for Germany in the 2014 European Championship, he was 4 for 12 with a walk, double, homer and five runs. His long ball came off Ben Pearson.
