Milton Ramos has been a minor league player.

Ramos hit .467 as a high school senior and was taken by the New York Mets in the third round of the 2014 amateur draft, the 84th overall pick and their second, following Michael Conforto. As a middle infielder for the GCL Mets that summer, he batted .241/.299/.355 with 5 triples. He tied for 7th in the Gulf Coast League in triples. He split 2015 between the GCL Mets (.194/.256/.222 in 11 G) and Kingsport Mets (.317/.341/.415). Baseball America rated him as the Mets' #19 prospect. As the shortstop for the 2016 Columbia Fireflies, he produced at a .220/.292/.273 clip with no homers in 404 plate appearances while fielding .932.

He began 2017 with the Fireflies and hit .227/.272/.276 in 57 games. He was then traded to the Baltimore Orioles in return for international signing bonus slots. He batted .239/.275/.322 in 48 games for the Delmarva Shorebirds following the deal. He joined the Colombian national team for the 2017 Bolivarian Games and hit .250/.318/.350 with four RBI in five games, second on the team in RBI behind Álvaro Noriega. He broke up a scoreless duel with Venezuela in the 6th against former major leaguer Frank Mata, driving in Charlie Mirabal. In the Gold Medal game, he hit 2nd and was 0 for 5 in a 6-4 win over Panama.
