Mexico women's national baseball team
The Mexico women's national baseball team is a national team of Mexico and is controlled by the Federación Mexicana de Béisbol. It represents the nation in senior-level women's international competition. The team is a member of WBSC Americas. They qualified for the 2020 Women's Baseball World Cup but that event was wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic. They then made it to the 2023 Women's Baseball World Cup, going 3-2 in group play with a win over former Bronze Medal winner Australia, to make it to the final-six. 2B Denise Perez hit .389/.450/.722 with 11 RBI in 5 games in group play and Rosa Del Castillo (1-1, 1.56) and Dafne Mejia (1-0, 0 R in 3 2/3 IP) pitched very well.
