Lukáš Borecký has played in the Czech Extraliga.

Borecký debuted for Krc Altron in 2003, hitting .296/.429/.361 and stealing 8 bases in 8 tries. He fell to .179/.304/.179 in 2004. In 2005, he batted .242/.351/.281 and stole 17 bases in 18 tries; he also had a 1-0, 4.00 record on the mound. He was second in the Extraliga in swipes, three shy of leader Martin Veselý. He struggled in 2006 (.203/.322/.230, .927 fielding percentage). In 2007, he hit .234/.315/.266 and fielded only .875 while going 1-0 with a 2.38 ERA. For the 2008 Eagles Prague, he produced at a .279/.386/.314 clip, stole 13 bases in 14 tries and was 1-4 with a save and a 6.75 ERA. He was 6th in the league in steals. In '09, he hit .270/.363/.303 and went 13-for-15 in steal attempts, tying for sixth in stolen bases.

In 2010, the 25-year-old hit .269/.321/.269 and allowed 11 runs in 7 1/3 IP. He only played eight games in 2011 (8 for 19, 2 2B, BB, 3 SB, 2 CS). During 2012, the veteran hit .289/.372/.340, scored 31 runs in 42 games and went 1-1 with a 10.13 ERA. He was 5 for 20 with a walk, two doubles, six runs and three steals in four tries. He also made 4 errors in 21 chances, though. On the mound, he gave up one run in two innings. Only Venezuelan Marc Obussier of the Bern Cardinals had more errors in the Regensburg Cup. On the other hand, Borecký tied Daniele Malengo, Björn Hato and Claudio Liverziani for fourth in steals, tied Wesley Connor, Lorenzo Avagnina and Willie Vasquez for second in doubles (one behind Simone Albanese) and tied Hato, Malengo and Mike Duursma for second in runs (two shy of Bas de Jong).
