Bern Cardinals

The Bern Cardinals play in the Ligue Nationale Gruppe A in Switzerland. They are eight-time Swiss champions since 2000. They won the championship in 2001, 2005 through 2008 and 2010-2013. They were the first Swiss team to qualify for a European Cup, playing in the 2013 European Cup.

Former major leaguer Eduardo Villacis signed with the team for 2011. Other players have included John Baum (also manager), Andrea Girasole, Tobias Imboden and Patrick Lawson.
