Biographical Information[edit]

Linoy Croes, a native of Aruba, has played in the Hoofdklasse. He was as an outfielder for the Pioniers in 2010, hitting .258/.359/.438 and tying for third in the league with three home runs. In 2011, he slumped all the way to .179/.247/.269 and he did not get an at-bat in the 2011 Holland Series. Moving to HCAW the next year, he rebounded to bat .302/.356/.463 with 13 steals in 18 tries and 26 runs in 42 games. He tied Dwayne Kemp for the league lead in triples (5), tied Danny Rombley for 9th in total bases (69), was 4th in steals (after Kody Hightower, Roelie Henrique and Remco Draijer), finished second in whiffs (38, 6 behind Enrique Tromp) and tied for second in times caught stealing.
