Biographical Information[edit]
Leo Bristow has played for the Swedish national team.
Bristow allowed three runs in two innings and hit .176/.300/.176 in the 2016 European Junior Championship, losing to Germany. [1] He was 9-2 with a 0.69 ERA and 106 K in 60 2/3 IP as a high school senior and was All-State. [2] In the 2019 European Championship]], he started and lost against Jan Tomek and the Czech national team. Martin Schneider began by hitting into an error, then Matěj Hejma doubled, Martin Červenka singled in a run, Petr Čech singled and Martin Mužík singled in a run before he finally got an out, on a Daniel Vavruša grounder. He settled down from there, allowing six hits, two walks and six runs (five earned) in four innings while striking out two (Petr Zýma and Hejma). Daniel Linder relieved. His other game, he pinch-hit for DH Nico Filice and singled off former major leaguer Michael Roth his first time up. He grounded out against Roth and drew a walk from Daniel Cooper his other trips to the dish. [3]
He had a 0-2, 4.57 in the COVID-19-shortened 2020 college season then was 2-3 with a save and a 4.50 ERA in 2021. [4]
