Biographical Information

Len Boyer is the brother of major leaguers Ken Boyer, Clete Boyer, Cloyd Boyer, and minor leaguers Lynn Boyer, Wayne Boyer and Ron Boyer, and the uncle of Dave Boyer and Mickey Boyer.

Boyer played six seasons in the minor leagues, never hitting above .250 or reaching double-digit home runs. He reached as high as AA, spending three years in the Texas League.

He spent six years in the National Guard. After baseball, he worked for the Arkansas Power and Light and the Empire District Electric Company, becoming a foreman. He retired in 2011.
