Biographical Information

Mickey Boyer is the son of Clete Boyer, and nephew of major leaguers Ken Boyer, Cloyd Boyer, and minor leaguers Lynn Boyer, Wayne Boyer and Len Boyer. He is also the cousin of Dave Boyer. Mickey only played one season in the minors. With the 1984 Idaho Falls A's, he hit .273/.388/.367 with 36 runs in 43 games. He fielded .868 at third base, which was still somehow better than the mark posted by Idaho Falls' other main option there.
