Biographical Information

Pitcher Ken Myette is the father of Aaron Myette. He pitched in the minor leagues from 1966 to 1970 and posting a 15-20 career record.

He debuted with the Johnson City Yankees, going 4-2 with a 4.91 ERA. In 1967, he was on the Fort Lauderdale Yankees and went 3-8 with a 3.58 ERA. Myette was with the 1968 Tacoma Cubs (they took him in the AAA phase of the 1967 Rule V Draft), reaching AAA. He was 5-5 with a 4.76 ERA for Tacoma. He was traded by the Chicago Cubs with Clarence Jones to the Cincinnati Reds for Ted Abernathy on January 9, 1969. Ken struggled his next two years, both with the Asheville Tourists. In 1969, his record was 3-5, 5.63. He finished up his career with the 1970 Tourists, allowing 11 hits, 7 walks and 9 runs in 9 innings.

Myette coached for Team Canada in the 1978 Amateur World Series.
