Biographical Information[edit]

Jung-ho Lim has pitched in the KBO.

Lim was drafted by the NC Dinos in the 3rd round of the 2013 KBO draft, and he spent his first two seasons in the minors. As the main LOOGY of the Dinos in 2015, Lim pitched 80 games (only 48 IP) with a 3.75 ERA and 14 holds, and he led the league in appearances. His 80 appearances in a season was still the team record as of 2024. He then had a 5.40 ERA in 42 games in 2016, and he collected 7 holds with a 4.45 ERA in 59 games in 2017. Lim missed the next two seasons due to military service, and he notched 22 holds with a 4.61 ERA in 69 games in 2020. He ranked 3rd in holds (tied with Hae-soo Jin) and 3rd in appearances (8 behind Kwon Ju). He appeared in 5 of 6 games in the 2020 Korean Series, and he won the title as the Dinos beat the Doosan Bears.

The Seoul native collected 12 holds with a 4.15 ERA in 60 games in 2021, then he notched 6 holds with a 3.24 ERA in 33 games in 2022. His ERA was 4.68 in 65 games with 15 holds in 2023, and he pitched 65 games again in 2024 with a 4.42 ERA and 9 holds. He also broke NC's team record for most career holds on April 23, 2024. The Dinos signed a 3-year, 1.2 billion won extension with him after that season.
