Jung-Nan Twu is a former Olympic catcher.
Twu played for the Taiwan national team in the 1982 Amateur World Series, 1983 Asian Championship, 1984 Amateur World Series (3 for 21, 2B) 1984 Olympics, 1985 Asian Championship, 1985 Intercontinental Cup, 1986 Amateur World Series, 1987 Asian Championship, 1987 Intercontinental Cup and 1989 World Port Tournament. Taiwan won a Silver at the 1984 Amateur World Series and Bronze in the 1986 Amateur World Series as well as Medals in the Asian Championship. He also served in the Taiwan army in this period, playing for their baseball team.
When the Chinese Professional Baseball League formed in 1990, Twu signed with the Mercuries Tigers and hit .196/?/.208. He batted .222/?/.261 in 1991 and .280/?/.322 in 1992. He went just 7 for 47 for the '93 Tigers then was 1 for 13 for the 1994 La New Bears to end his career with a .222 average in the pro ranks.
