Biographical Information[edit]
Jonathan Lozada was a minor league outfielder. He was 4 for 29 with a walk for the 2007 VSL Pirates and hit .244/.340/.274 for the same club in 2008. For the 2009 Yuma Scorpions, he batted .253. He was on the Colombian national team in the 2010 South American Games (they won a Silver Medal) and 2010 Pan American Games Qualifying Tournament (0 for 2). In the 2015 South American Championship, he homered twice in the semifinals as Colombia would win the Gold. He hit .250/.250/.500 as Colombia's starting third baseman in the 2015 Pan American Games. He helped Colombia to a Bronze in the 2016 South American Championship, going an amazing 7 for 8 with 4 walks, a double, three runs and four RBI in the round-robin phase but not getting enough at-bats to qualify for the batting title (which was split by four guys at .500). He was only 1 for 8 with two walks and three more runs in the semifinals and Bronze Medal game, though.
