Jamey Storvick was the first American scout to be stationed in Taiwan. He worked for the Seattle Mariners from 1999-2012 then moved to the Los Angeles Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds. He has also scouted in South Korea. He signed Min-Shih Chen, Yung-Chi Chen, Ji-Man Choi, Seon-gi Kim and Sheng-En Lin.
