Biographical Information[edit]

Jack Keeler was 1-1 with a 7.71 ERA for Sweden in the 2016 U18 European Championship, beating Italy and losing to Russia. [1] In the 2016 European Championship, he pitched once; the teenager closed out Sweden's 8-3 loss to the champion Netherlands. Relieving Jakob Claesson in the 8th, he retired Curt Smith, walked Gianison Boekhoudt then got Kalian Sams grounded into a double play. In the 9th, Yurendell de Caster reached on an error and Stijn van der Meer drew a walk but Keeler got future big leaguer Chad Tromp to hit into a twin killing. Nick Urbanus then flew out for a solid outing from Jack. [2]
