Jaïr Roseburg has been an infielder in the Hoofdklasse. In 2006, he went 6 for 37 with a double, 3 walks and 12 strikeouts in a utility role for ADO. He was 12 for 59 with a double, triple and 7 walks in 2007, serving part-time at second base. He hit .200/.278/.238 for ADO in 2008 and fielded .932 at 2B, his main position again. Moving to RCH in 2009, he again was right at the Mendoza Line - .200/.270/.256 while fielding .887 as a utility infielder. With Almere in 2010, he had his third straight .200 season, getting 14 singles in 70 at-bats and drawing 11 walks. He fielded .929.
Back with ADO in 2011, Roseburg started much better than he ever had before - .299/.326/.379 after 26 games with a .964 fielding percentage. He made the South roster for the 2011 Hoofdklasse All-Star Game. Replacing Jirka Bliek at second base, he struck out against Kevin Miner and singled against Maarten Mulder in a loss.
