In the decisive game four, he struggled; the Pioniers trailed the best-of-five series 2 games to 1 going in. With a 4-2 lead in the 8th, Mulder had meltdown. Lennart Koster reached on a base and was singled over by Benjamin Dille. Maarten hit Raily Legito to load the bases, then gave up a 2-run single to Sharnol Adriana. Legito was caught stealing, but Jeffrey Arends doubled. Mulder was replaced by Robin van Doornspeek, who let an inherited runner score.
