Jirka Bliek
Jirka Bliek was an infielder for UVV when they rejoined the Hoofdklasse in 2011. He was hitting .298/.392/.310 after 25 games and was chosen to play in the 2011 Hoofdklasse All-Star Game. Hitting 8th and playing second base for the South, he flew out against Rob Cordemans and struck out versus Frank van Heijst before Jaïr Roseburg replaced him.
His father Dick Bliek was a baseball executive.
