Ho-Nam Leung played for Hong Kong in the 2006 Asian Youth Championship, 2007 Asian Junior Championship, 2010 Asian Games (pitching in relief against South Korea) and 2013 East Asian Games. In the 2014 Asian Games, he struck out once and had a sacrifice hit while having two putouts as a backup outfielder, behind Yau-Pang Ng in LF and Tsun-Wai Yung in RF. Starting in right and hitting leadoff for Hong Kong in the 2017 Asian Championship, he went 1 for 13 with a walk and two steals; he had 5 putouts, 2 assists and one error. His lone hit came in their only win, against Pakistan.
In the 2018 East Asian Baseball Cup, he went 4 for 4 in the opening win over Singapore and finished at .583/.583/.583. His 7 hits were one shy of team leader Wing-Sing Li and he led the team in average. He was not named the All-Star catcher for the event - that was Mark Manaig. As Hong Kong's leadoff hitter and backstop at the 2018 Asian Games, he batted .333/.368/.389, handled 26 chances error-free and threw out 3 of 7 attempted base-stealers. He led catchers in caught stealing, one ahead of Eui-ji Yang and Faldy Akhmad Zulfikar. He tied Li for second on Hong Kong in RBI, two behind Matthew Holliday.
