Biographical Information[edit]
Hiroki Nakagawa played for ENEOS in the Industrial League after college. [1] He represented Japan in the 2022 Asian Games. He debuted against the Philippines and drew a RBI walk off Kennedy Torres in the 8th inning. He then went 2-for-3 with a two-run single against Khounchleun Soulapixa and a two-run double against Yayua Wa of Laos. He was 0-for-4 in the next game, then hit a double against Yeong-hyun Park of South Korea. Nakagawa then went 0-for-2 with a walk against Chinese Taipei. In the Bronze Medal Game, he was 1-for-5 with a single against Ningji Li to help Japan beat China and win the Bronze. He handled 19 chances error-free combined at second and short for the event. He tied Seifu Suzuki for 5th in the event, one behind the co-leaders. [2]
