Hampton, VA
Hampton is located in southeastern Virginia, on the southern tip of a peninsula delimited by the estuary of the James River to the west, and Chesapeake Bay to the east. Newport News, VA is immediately north of Hampton and Norfolk, VA lies 5 miles to the south, across the estuary. It is part of the "Tidewater" area.
