Biographical Information

Wayne Gomes, who was once considered to have closer qualities, threw a fastball and hard curve. Using those pitches, he was able to pull off a 13-inning scoreless run for the Philadelphia Phillies in April, 2000 - all the while saving four games in that stretch.
