Elniery García pitched in the minor leagues and the CPBL.

García was signed by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2012, and he went 2-1 with a 4.18 ERA for the DSL Phillies. He was 1-3 with a 5.15 ERA for the GCL Phillies in 2013, then he improved to 2-2 with a 2.08 ERA in 2014. Garcia also pitched 4 games for the Williamsport Crosscutters, but his ERA was 5.79. He then went 8-9 with a 3.23 ERA for the Lakewood BlueClaws in 2015, and he had a 12-4 record with a 2.68 ERA for the Clearwater Threshers in 2016.

Before the 2017 season, Garcia tested positive for PEDs and he was suspended for 80 games. He had a 1.75 ERA in 5 games for the Reading Fightin Phils in that season, and he also had a 5.79 ERA in 4 starts for the Glendale Desert Dogs in fall. Garcia went 0-6 with a 6.38 ERA in Reading in 2018, and he was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals for cash in July. He went 1-1 with a 4.26 ERA for the Springfield Cardinals after changing teams. Garcia was 2-1 with a 3.75 ERA for the Leones del Caracas in 2019, and he also pitched 2 games for the Toros del Este. He didn’t pitched as the coronavirus shut down the minor leagues in 2020.

Garcia went 4-1 with a 2.65 ERA for the Vaqueros de Monteria in 2021, and he had a 4.40 ERA for the Tigres del Licey in 2022. After having a 6-3 record with a 3.72 ERA for the Generales de Durango, the Fubon Guardians of Taiwan signed him. Garcia was 3-3 with a 3.95 ERA in 2023, then he signed with the CTBC Brothers. However, he tested positive in a drug test again, and he was released.
