He also pitched in relief against New Zealand, relieving Charlie Labrador in the 6th and allowing five hits, three walks and four runs (three earned) in 1 2/3 IP, before being replaced by Vladimir Eguia during a 10-6 loss. He tied Fernando Laurel and Chad Nacapoy for second on the team in hits, behind Ryan Pineda, and led with 3 RBI. On the other hand, he had the third-worst ERA on the staff after Romeo Jasmin Jr. and Max Javate.
He was 4-4 with a 4.56 ERA for the 2014 Vallejo Admirals. In '15, he was with the Admirals (2-7, 4.84) and Pittsburg Mettle (5 R, 10 BB in 4 1/3 IP, 0-1). In the 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, he was 0 for 3 with two strikeouts as the left fielder in the opener against Australia. He then started the Philippines' second game, against New Zealand, and allowed 4 hits, 2 walks and 2 runs (1 earned) in 2 2/3 IP before Kevin Vance relieved and let one of the inherited runners score. He still had the best ERA of any of the six Philippines hurlers that day at 6.75; Ryan Juarez was next at double that, 13.50.
