Biographical Information[edit]

Deivi Muñoz has played in the minors and for the Dominican national team.

He hit .344/.387/.557 as a utility man for the 2018 DSL Yankees in a fine pro debut. He tied Julio Rodríguez and three others for the Dominican Summer League lead in wins. He split 2019 between the GCL Yankees East (2 for 3, R), Pulaski Yankees (4 for 11, BB, 2B, 3B) and Tampa Yankees (.172/.226/.172 in 12 G). His time in the minors over, he was with the Dominican entry in the 2023 Pan American Games and started at third base. He flew out against Panama's Steven Fuentes his first time up then singled off him the next. He had a three-run game against Chile and batted .455/.538/.818 with six runs in four games, fielding .938. He had a homer off Chile's Nelson Varas. He was second in the Games in runs (two behind Carlos Arroyo) and third in slugging (after Eduardo Díaz and Jasson Atondo). He was also 6th with 11 assists, between Felipe Mizukosi and Emmanuel Ávila. [1]
