Christophe Jahja
Biographical Information[edit]
Christophe Jahja was 3 for 6 with two runs and three RBI for the New Caledonia national team in the 2003 South Pacific Games and won Silver with them in the 2007 South Pacific Games. He was the starting second baseman for New Caledonia when they hosted the 2011 Pacific Games. He grounded out his first at-bat, against John Pangelinan of Guam. His first hit came two days later when he singled off Pemerika Mahuka of American Samoa. He finished the event at .188/.381/.188 with five walks, three runs and three RBI in five games, going 3-for-3 in steals and fielding .833. He was second in the event in walks (one behind Lieb Bells) and tied for 6th in swipes (only Jacques Boucheron had more for New Caledonia).
