Chris McAlpin has been a scout.
McAlpin coached at Tiftarea Academy for five years. In 2002, he became the Los Angeles Angels scout for Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. He has signed Joe Saunders, P.J. Phillips, Nick Green, Jeremy Berg, Michael Kohn, Jonah Todd, Cam Bedrosian, Kaleb Cowart, Chevy Clarke, Jordyn Adams and Bryce Teodosio (Bedrosian, Cowart and Clarke were the first three Angels picks of 2010 and Adams the top pick of 2018).
