Chapel Hill, NC
Chapel Hill is in central North Carolina about 10 miles southwest of Durham, NC. A number of baseball players reported to Chapel Hill for Pre-flight school during World War II. The Cloudbusters were the baseball team representing the pre-flight school.
The University of North Carolina hosted the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament in 1973, 1975, 1981, 1982, and 1983 and hosted the College World Series Regionals in 1983.
