Central Texas League
The class D Central Texas League was founded in 1914 and existed for four seasons before folding. The League was also known as the Central Texas Trolley League 1914-1915. Only Ennis competed for the full 4 years.
In 1914 the second half was shortened to July 25. Waxahachie beat West 3-2 in the playoffs. In 1915 the league folded July 24. In 1917, the contracted from 6 teams to 4, opened on May 21 and closed on June 6. Temple moved to Corsicana on June 1.
