Biographical Information[edit]
Caitlin Frank was on the first British women's national team, at the 2022 European Women's Championship. Interestingly, she was listed as a left-handed catcher. She debuted in their opening game, pinch-hitting for Marianna Casal late in a win over Czechia. She drew a walk from Pavla Mikšová. Starting against the Netherlands, she was retired by Zoë Lageweg and Ciska Welboren but her teammates did no better as they got no-hit. In their last game, she replaced Casal behind the dish and struck out against tourney MVP Coralie Guillemin of France. She had six putouts and two errors on defense, allowing seven steals in seven tries. She did not allow the most steals in the tourney; Tereza Šustrová and Chiara Enrione-Thorrand allowed more. [1]
