Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Bob Mariano won Bronze with Team USA in the 1979 Intercontinental Cup. He played in the minors from 1980-1985, including two full years at AA.

Mariano has coached in the Baltimore Orioles (1985-86), New York Yankees (1988-92), Milwaukee Brewers (1993-97) and Arizona Diamondbacks (1998-2000) organizations. He was a player/coach for the Charlotte O's in 1985, and a coach for the Albany Yankees in 1989, Prince William Cannons in 1990, Albany-Colonie Yankees in 1991, Fort Lauderdale Yankees in 1992, Beloit Brewers in 1993, and El Paso Diablos in 1994. He was the minor league hitting coordinator for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2002-2004 and San Francisco Giants in 2005-2011.
