Bill Pintard
Bill Pintard is a college Scout and a summer collegiate manager. Pintard scouts California and the west coast for the New York Yankees. But he is most notable for managing the Santa Barbara Foresters of the California Collegiate League, which he has done since 1995. Pintard has taken the Foresters to the National Baseball Congress World Series every year since he has been manager, winning the championship eight times, most in NBC history. His 2008 team was named summer collegiate national champions.
Pintard is right behind Frank Leo of the Hays Larks as summer collegiate baseball's longest-tenured active managers. Notable major leaguers who have played for Pintard are Morgan Ensberg, Matt Diaz, Delwyn Young, Matt Garza and Dylan Axelrod.
