Biographical information[edit]

Middle infielder Bennie Brownlow played from 1911 to 1927, missing 1918, 1919 and 1925. Over 14 minor league seasons, he played in 1,401 games. He led the Longview Cannibals to an 83-39 record in 1926, giving them the league championship. The club won the Texas Class D Minor League Baseball Championship.
