Organized Baseball was an official term - not clear on when it stopped being used. I edited the first paragraph back from Russian national team to Russian team because the European Cup is for teams from different leagues, not necessarily players from a given country. Ex. you have Fortitudo Bologna of Italy which includes a certain number of non-Italian players, whereas the Italian national team only includes guys with Italian passports. - --Mischa (talk) 12:05, 18 April 2016 (EDT)

Support It's nice to learn the full story of guys whose stat line in the majors is very short. Really a fascinating career. Like a lot of those articles, there's a bit too much statistics as opposed to descriptive prose, but at least there are a few interesting quotes that give a better sense of Ahearne as a person (I'm thinking of the comment by Jim Kaat in the CWS). --Philippe (talk) 13:22, 18 April 2016 (EDT)
