Biographical Information[edit]

Antonio Caceres was signed out of the Dominican Republic by the Toronto Blue Jays when he was 17. He played in their minor league system from 1995-1998. Caceres spent the first three years with the DSL Blue Jays and his final season with the Medicine Hat Blue Jays.

After his playing career ended, Caceres transitioned to a pitching coach role with the Blue Jays, mostly in the lower levels of their system.

Caceres was scheduled to be pitching coach for the Dunedin Blue Jays in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to COVID-19. In 2021, he was originally assigned to coach the Vancouver Canadians, but was apparently moved to the Florida Complex League team at some point.
