Team History

The Bluefield Orioles played in the Appalachian League from 1958 to 2010. During the 2010 season it was announced the Orioles would not return in 2011. They were replaced by the Toronto Blue Jays and the newly named Bluefield Blue Jays. In the minor league reorganization of 2021 they were tranformed into a summer collegiate team and renamed the Bluefield Ridge Runners.
