Biographical Information[edit]

Angélique André has played for the French women's national team.

She played for France in the 2017 European Softball Championship. [1] She moved to their women's baseball team for the 2022 European Women's Championship. In their opener, she hit second and played left field. She was retired by Merle Langevoord of the Netherlands her first time up then singled the next time to drive in Julianne Laporte. She had three hits versus Czechia as a bright spot in France's first loss ever (their ladies had gone 6-0 before that). She hit .400/.538/.400 for the champs with four runs and three steals (not caught) in three games. She had two putouts in the field. She tied for 9th in the event in runs (with Marjorie Brunel, Yasmine Derbal and Gabriella Sassoli), tied for 10th in walks (3) and tied Kateřina Popelková and Darier Malone for 6th in steals. [2]
