Biographical Information[edit]

Julianne Laporte was on the first French women's national team. In her first game at the 2019 European Women's Championship, she pinch-hit for Géraldine Gauzelin in a 30-7 romp of Czechia and drew a walk from Alena Langová. After coming around to score, she was pinch-hit for by Manon Delegue later in a 13-run inning. Replacing Nahya Nguyen in right against the Dutch women's national team, she drew walks from Berber Jansen and Ciska Welboren and scored twice then was lifted for Frédérique Noury. Her last game, she played right in a 18-12 win over Czechia, going 3-for-5 with a run and five RBI; her first hit was a two-run single off Denisa Jószová. She tied teammates Mélissa Mayeux, Marjorie Brunel and Raina Hunter for the most RBI in a game. She sat out their Gold Medal Game win over the Netherlands, as Louise Maillard and Delegue played right that day. She tied for sixth in the event in RBI.
