ALB Orkas

ALB Orkas (also known as Orkas BBC) was an entry in Venezuela's Liga Paralela in 2008. They finished 18-28 to finish 10th of 15 teams. They were notable for using European players (either European-born or playing in European leagues). Players included Bryon Bell, Zair Koeiman, Yulman Ribeiro, Jurjen van Zijl, Nelson Santander and Shane Gnade. A stronger team was announced for 2009 that included Kenny Berkenbosch, Vince Rooi and Mervin Gario.
