2023 West Asian Baseball Cup
The 2023 West Asian Baseball Cup was held in Islamabad, Pakistan from January 27 to February 1, 2023. It was the largest West Asian Baseball Cup to that point with India, Nepal, State of Palestine, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Palestine was making its debut, with a team primarily of people from the Chicago area including former minor leaguer Tarik El-Abour; only four of the players were from Palestine. This was reminiscent of some other international teams like Greece and Ireland which rely on players from abroad.

- Pakistan 14, Bangladesh 0. Ahmad Shahzad scores three runs.
- State of Palestine 22, Nepal 1. Malik Abdullah and Ibrahim Shalabi each score four.
- Sri Lanka 11, India 2. Amila scores three.

January 31: Semifinals[edit]
- Pakistan 16, Sri Lanka 1. Muhammad Waseem hits a long bomb in Pakistan's rout.
- State of Palestine 14, Bangladesh 3
February 1: Finals[edit]
- Pakistan 11, State of Palestine 3. The American Palestine team finally falls, losing the title game to the hosts, who reclaim the Asian Cup title. Faqir Hussain scored three runs while Amjad Hussain and Muhammad Zohaib did the pitching duties.
- Sri Lanka 3, Bangladesh 1. The defending champs finish third with a win over Bangladesh.
