Biographical Information

Muhammad Zohaib pitched for the Pakistani national team in the 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. Starting an eliminaton game against Great Britain, he went 3 2/3 innings and allowed five hits, three walks and four runs in 3 2/3 IP while striking out three. He was relieved by Asrar Ahmad. For the event, his 2.18 WHIP led Pakistan (.13 ahead of #2 Inayat Khan), he tied Ihsan Ullah for the team lead in strikeouts and he was second to Khan in ERA (by 1.51).
