2022 Pacific League Rookie of the Year Award

The 2022 Pacific League Rookie of the Year Award went to Seibu Lions reliever Yoshinobu Mizukami, who had a 1.77 ERA. He was only the third player to win and first in the PL after being a development-squad selection. He got 177 of 267 votes. The runner-up was Orix Buffaloes pitcher Shota Abe, who had 58. Also receiving votes were Tomohisa Ohzeki of the Softbank Hawks (10), Ko Matsukawa of the Chiba Lotte Marines (7), Nippon Ham's Daigo Kamikawabata (5), Isami Nomura of Softbank (3), his teammate Tatsuru Yanagimachi (3) and Satoshi Miyamori of Rakuten. Two voters did not select anyone.
