Biographical Information

Daigo Kamikawabata has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Kamikawabata was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 9th round of the 2021 NPB draft, and he hit .291/.360/.356 while leading the Pacific League with 10 caught stealing in 2022. He fielded .993 at short. He played 108 games with a .212/.305/.235 batting line in 2023, then he was selected into the 2024 NPB All-Star Games. Kamikawabata was 2-for-3 with a pair of singles against Iori Yamasaki and Shinya Matsuyama in Game 1, then he went 0-for-2 in Game 2.
