1998 Trans America Athletic Conference Tournament

The 1998 Trans America Athletic Conference baseball tournament was held at Osceola County Stadium in Kissimmee, FL. For the third year in a row, the tournament was preceded by an opening round in which all 12 conference teams were paired up in best of three matchups. The 6 winners advanced to the tournament. Georgia State was upset in the opening round for the third year in a row. #1 Florida International University defeated #2 Troy State University for the title. Edwin Franco of Florida International was named MVP.
