Biographical Information[edit]
Danny Price has won over 1,000 games as a college coach.
From 1976-1979, Price was hitting coach at Florida International University. From 1980-2007, he coached FIU, going 1,086-597 and being named Trans America Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 1991, 1995 and 1998. Before leading the team to NCAA Division I, he guided FIU to the 1980 Division II College World Series. Among the major leaguers he coached there were Mike Lowell and Mark Lee. In 2011, Price was hired to coach Miami Dade College.
