1989 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament

The 1989 Missouri Valley Conference baseball tournament was held in Wichita, KS. Bradley University withdrew from the tournament when the van carrying the team to Wichita crashed, killing one player and leaving another in critical condition. #2 Indiana State University defeated #1 Wichita State University for the title. Larry Russell of Indiana State was named tournament MVP.
