1989 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament

The 1989 Missouri Valley Conference baseball tournament was held May 18-20 in Wichita, KS. Bradley University withdrew from the tournament when the van carrying the team to Wichita crashed, killing one player and leaving another in critical condition. #2 Indiana State University defeated #1 Wichita State University for the title. Larry Russell of Indiana State was named tournament MVP.
