Biographical Information[edit]
Mitch Hannahs was a minor-league second baseman and has been a college coach.
Hannahs was drafted in the 16th round of the 1998 draft by the Milwaukee Brewers out of Indiana State University after being named the All-American second baseman by the American Baseball Coaches Association (Frank Thomas was the 1B, Eddie Zosky the SS). He played three seasons in the minors.
He became an assistant coach at Indiana State in 1995 through 2001. In 2002, he became the head coach of Lincoln Trail College.
In 2014, he returned as head coach of Indiana State, winning 355 games before moving to the University of South Florida for the 2025 season.
