Jeff Stewart

Biographical Information[edit]
Jeff Stewart has been a college coach and a scout.
He was assistant coach at Kansas State University from 1987-1988 then was head coach of Illinois State University from 1989-2002. At Illinois State, he coached Matt Herges and Danny Kolb among other future major leaguers. Stewart then became a San Diego Padres scout, signing Dean Anna, Anthony Bass, Chris Fetter, Billy Killian, Cory Luebke, Colin Rea and Matt Stites.
Jeff's son Luke Stewart played briefly in the minors and another son, Brock Stewart, made his major league debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2016.
