On June 15th, the 1977 New York Mets traded away two of their biggest stars in separate trades. Tom Seaver was sent to the Cincinnati Reds for Pat Zachry, Doug Flynn, Steve Henderson, and Dan Norman, and Dave Kingman was traded to the San Diego Padres for Bobby Valentine and Paul Siebert.
