Record: 86-68, Finished 3rd in American League (1910 AL)
Managed by Hughie Jennings
History, Comments, Contributions[edit]
The 1910 Detroit Tigers were the defending American League champions, and they made a run at defending their title early in the year. On June 23rd, they were in second place, only one game back of the Philadelphia Athletics, but their season suddenly went awry as they went on a 4-13 slide. The last four of these losses were a sweep at the hands of the Athletics that left them 10 games back on July 12th, and they were never in the running after that. They finished in third place at 86-68.
